About the conference

Bringing power microelectronics together.

The IEEE IMPACT Conference focuses on power-oriented microelectronics, spanning integrated power devices, PMIC circuits, passive components and advanced packaging.

It targets innovations enabling higher integration, power density and efficiency through microelectronics technologies, heterogeneous integration and device–circuit–package co-design.

Outside scope: Contributions centered on conventional discrete power-electronics systems without a direct microelectronics-integration dimension are outside the primary scope. Please refrain from submitting such work.

01
Devices

Si, GaN, SiC and emerging power device technologies.

02
Circuits

Integrated PMICs and innovative power-conversion circuits.

03
Packaging

Passives, chiplets, thermal and heterogeneous integration.

Call for contributions

Technical & application areas

IMPACT brings together experts working from the component to the package, and from circuit innovation to application requirements.

Devices · Circuits · Packaging

Technical topics

  • Integrated PMICs; DC–DC, AC–DC, switched-capacitor, hybrid, resonant and multi-level converters
  • Si, GaN, SiC and emerging power devices
  • Integrated passives, capacitors, magnetics and energy storage
  • Advanced packaging, chiplets, heterogeneous and 3D integration
  • Thermal, reliability, EMI/EMC and power integrity
  • Device–circuit–package co-design, DTCO/STCO
Power & energy

Application topics

  • Power delivery for AI, data centers, HPC and telecom
  • Automotive, e-mobility, avionics and industrial systems
  • Battery-powered systems, BMS and chargers
  • Energy harvesting, wireless power and autonomous systems
  • Consumer, mobile, IoT and edge-AI power management
Cross-disciplinary contributions linking devices, circuits, packaging and applications are particularly encouraged.

Application areas alone do not establish eligibility: each submission should clearly demonstrate a substantive contribution to microelectronics integration. Conventional discrete power-electronics systems without this connection are out of scope.

Essential scope requirement

Microelectronics integration is required — not just power electronics.

IMPACT is dedicated to integrated power devices, IC/PMIC circuits, integrated passives, microelectronic packaging and device–circuit–package co-design. Conventional, discrete or system-level power-electronics contributions without a direct and clear microelectronics-integration dimension are outside the scope. Please refrain from submitting such papers. Read the submission guidance →
